Romans 8:39 – No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. 

At first, I questioned my decision to bare my life for anyone to see but it was necessary. The secrets wore like a cocoon around my soul, I needed to break out. The girl who was shamed into silence needed to shout, “This happened! I didn’t make it up. I didn’t invent it. I didn’t do it. There’s a reason for the brokenness you see but I’m not gonna’ live here any longer. This is my emancipation!” 

With every story I shared God revealed a comfort zone of blame and brought me to a fork in the road where I made the choice to stop rehearsing the reasons why I was broken, to claiming the victory of forging a new path from where I was. It didn’t matter the reasons why. All that mattered was where I was going from there. I could no longer stay in my comfort zone of suffering.

God bears with us for as long as we need but there comes a time he allows life to bring you to a point where you can hear Him declare the time of your exodus to freedom. He announces, “PIVOT” to the universe, the universe obeys and He brings you into alignment with your true heart, your true purpose in Him. 

I remember so clearly the umpteenth time I chose to find my own way, by walking away from Christian faith, but this particular day in 2011 was the first time I was consciously choosing to explore ‘spirituality’ outside the vestibule of church, religion and the Bible. 

It was early morning. Jeff was at work, the kids were asleep. I was preparing my mind to get out of bed when the Lord spoke. He didn’t speak audibly but it was a clear voice in my mind. “The God you’re running from here is the same God you’ll find over there.”

“Psh… I’m not running. Who’s running?!” I answered. And with that, I got out of bed and went about my way. 

In His statement, I thought God meant that He is in every spiritual path and practice, that religion didn’t matter and neither did church or the Bible. He’s in it all and it doesn’t matter the packaging (the devil is a tricky liar and always sugars his lies with truth enough for you to willingly swallow it). I was very very wrong but thankfully He protected me the entire journey. 

It’s true, God is in everything but on the journey of my way, what I found missing the entire time was the inner transformation I longed for. What was lacking is a certain vibration of inner joy and peace and love. 

LOVE! 

The God brand of Love vibrates at a rate perceptible to your very cells. Nothing else compares!This LOVE breathes, and pumps and pulses and calls to your inner being, “COME TO LIFE!” 

I found that the God brand of Love was lacking in every person and situation, unbelieving in Christ.

This is what the Holy Spirit meant that day He said, “The God you’re running from here, is the same God you’ll find over there.”

– God is a ride or die kind of guy! He sticks with you, and He drew me back to Himself in 2016.

“I Am the Alpha and the Omega. I Am the same yesterday – today – and forever. I Am the beginning and the end. It doesn’t matter where you go or what you do, I remain the same and true. You will find Me because I move with you and I’ll be with you when you get to your end. Nothing will separate you from my love. EVER!”

My last post was over 6 months ago. The grief felt unbearable and I didn’t think I’d make it out. I truly didn’t. But through a series of dreams and encounters with God, He connected me to the Truth that He wants you connected with too. He IS! And He loves you! He pursues you with a wild and crazy, ludicrous, unwavering heart, and He won’t stop until He has it all!

We all have a calling to Jesus, we have to come out of our comfort zones to get there. I promise you, with Him is the very best place for you to be! 

It’s a miracle I’m here; and He’ll do it for you too!

I’ll share more with you in the coming weeks but for now I want to leave you with the announcement of His call for you, His declaration for you to the Universe…

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 

If you do not know Jesus as your Savior and Lord, simply pray the following prayer in faith, and Jesus will be your Lord!

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21). I am calling on You. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10: “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.

I am now reborn! I am a Christian—a child of Almighty God! I am saved! 

You also said in Your Word, “If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: HOW MUCH MORE shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luke 11:13). I’m also asking You to fill me with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, rise up within me as I praise God. I fully expect to speak with other tongues as You give me the utterance (Acts 2:4). In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
